Drip irrigation system: useful technique to improve chili production

چکیده

Abstract The effects of climate change such as continuing reduces the water availability and quality contributed to declining agricultural production. production chili, one vegetable commodities that high economic value in Indonesia, are also affected by this limited availability. current research develop technology on drip irrigation utilization aims increase chili using efficient technology. experiment was carried out at Margahayu Research Station, Lembang, West Java, Indonesia (± 1,250 m asl) from May November 2021. T test design with two treatments i.e. (A) manual (B) four replications were implemented experiment. use could save used time 40.12% 80% respectively during vegetative phase 37.11% 77.78% generative compared those irrigation. Further, method crop yields 8.39%, reduce costs 13.04% farmer income 9.25% incidence bacterial fruit rot disease be reduced method.
